Our Focus:

  • Lead policy development that illustrates the benefits of local economic health and an integrated element of overall civic goals
  • Recruit and retain businesses in targeted industries
  • Seek opportunities to aggregate and augment resources for all local businesses
  • Provide project-specific studies that measure economic impact in the context of Marin’s core values
  • Facilitate engagement via periodic roundtables among economic stakeholders in our business, government, educational and non-profit communities, toward a common vision of economic sustainability in Marin

MEF focuses on identified targeted industries, which in turn are drivers of economic success for the entire Marin business sector, from retail to business and household services.

MEF aims to strengthen Marin’s targeted industries and businesses through retention efforts, cluster development activities, and business attraction.
